HIGHLIGHTS

  1. As of February 11, 2025, the yield on 10-year Indonesia Government Bonds stood at 6.828%, a slight decrease from the previous day's yield of 6.846%. Meanwhile, the UST 10-yr yield decreased by 3bps to 4.54%, yesterday.
  2. The total volume of government bond transactions amounted to IDR 39.15 trillion, predominantly in short-term bonds (< 5 years). This was an increase from the previous day’s volume of IDR 36.96 trillion but remained below the year-to-date average of IDR 48.44 trillion. The outright transaction volume reached IDR 21.23 trillion, up from IDR 18.87 trillion the day before.
  3. Corporate bond transactions totaled IDR 1.96 trillion, with a focus on short-term bonds (< 5 years). This was an increase compared to the previous day's volume of IDR 913 billion and slightly higher than the year-to-date average of IDR 1.94 trillion. Outright transactions also saw a rise, reaching IDR 1.96 trillion, up from IDR 714 billion the previous day.
  4. The Rupiah weakened by 0.18%, closing at IDR 16,375 against the US Dollar, down from IDR 16,345. The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) declined by 1.75%, falling from 6,648 to 6,532. Meanwhile, Brent crude oil rose from USD 74.29 to USD 76.04 per barrel, and the WTI Cushing Crude Oil Spot price increased from USD 71.00 to USD 72.32 per barrel.

DOMESTIC UPDATES

  1. The Government Sharia Securities auction held on February 11, 2025, attracted a total of IDR 30.26 trillion in incoming bids, surpassing the previous auction on January 30, 2025, which recorded IDR 20.52 trillion. The series with the highest incoming bids was PBS003, with a yield range of 6.55% - 6.75%, receiving bids totaling IDR 9.92 trillion. This was followed by PBS030 and PBS038, which attracted bids of IDR 8.11 trillion and IDR 5.23 trillion, respectively. PBS030 offered a yield range of 6.60% - 6.81%, while PBS038 had a yield range of 7.05% - 7.20%. In total, the nominal amount awarded in this auction was IDR 10 trillion, in line with the government's target. The bid-to-cover ratio for this auction stood at 3.03x. (DJPPR)
