HIGHLIGHTS

 

  1. Yield of 10-year Indonesia Government Bonds is 7.374% on July 27, 2026, vs 7.354% the day before. Meanwhile, the 10-year US Treasury yield fell by 4 bps to 4.65% yesterday.
  2. Government bonds volume was IDR63.14 trillion, and it was dominated by short term (< 5 years). It was advanced than the previous day transaction of IDR54.56 trillion. The volume higher than its YTD average of IDR49.43 trillion. While the outright transaction reached IDR16.33 trilion declined from the previous day's transaction which amount to IDR16.44 trilion.
  3. Meanwhile, the total volume of corporate bonds was recorded at IDR9,200 billion, dominated by short term (< 5 years). The transaction volume declined compared to the previous day's volume of IDR11,462 billion. The volume higher compared to this year's average of IDR3,313 billion. Meanwhile, outright transaction recorded at IDR9,180 billion fell from the previous day's transaction of IDR11,388 billion.
  4. The Rupiah exchange rate against the US Dollar weakened by 0.35% to IDR18,005 from IDR17,943 while the JCI declined -0.17% from 6,196 to 6,186. Then Brent dropped from 96.78 to 88.39 USD per barrel, while WTI Cushing Crude Oil Spot price fell from 89.31 to 82.70 USD per barrel.

 

DOMESTIC UPDATES

 

  1. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia is scheduled to conduct a Sovereign Sukuk (SBSN) auction on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, as part of its efforts to meet the 2026 State Budget (APBN) financing requirements. The securities to be offered in this auction comprise SPNS08092026 (Reopening), SPNS03022027 (Reopening), SPNS12042027 (Reopening), PBS030 (Reopening), PBS040 (Reopening), PBS034 (Reopening), PBS005 (Reopening), and PBS038 (Reopening). The Government has set an indicative issuance target of IDR10 trillion for the auction. BRI Danareksa Sekuritas estimates that total incoming bids in the upcoming auction could reach IDR25 – 35 trillion, with an expected bid-to-cover ratio of 2.50x–3.50x (MoF, BRIDS Estimate)
  2. The Indonesian government officially accepted Perry Warjiyo’s resignation as Bank Indonesia Governor, with President Prabowo expressing appreciation for his nearly seven years of leadership. Under the Bank Indonesia Law, Senior Deputy Governor Destry Damayanti will automatically serve as acting governor until a new governor is appointed. The government emphasized that BI’s operations and policy continuity will remain intact, while reaffirming close coordination between the government and BI to maintain monetary and fiscal stability.
